How much does a website for a guesthouse cost in 2026?
How much does a website for a guesthouse cost in 2026? Honest package prices from 2,000 PLN, monthly care costs and the hidden fees worth asking about.
The short answer: a website for a guesthouse costs between 2,000 PLN and 8,500 PLN with me, depending on scope. The Mini package is 2,000 PLN, Standard is 4,500 PLN and Premium is 8,500 PLN. These are final prices – I run the business under VAT exemption, so no tax or „licensing fee” gets added later.
In this article I break those numbers down: what drives the price, what you get in each package, what running a website costs month to month, and which costs most vendors only reveal after you sign.
What drives the price of a guesthouse website?
The price grows with the scope of work, not with the size of the building. A few things move it:
- scope of the site – a page for a cabin with two rooms is different work than a full site for a property with a dozen room types and a restaurant. More sections mean more design and writing,
- photos – do you already have good photography? It goes straight into the project. If not, premium stock photos or a local photographer become part of the budget,
- copy – you can provide your own texts or I write them for you. The more writing falls on my side, the more hours the project takes,
- booking integration – a button linking to your existing booking system is one thing. An availability calendar on your site or a custom engine connected through API is a completely different scale of work,
- SEO – solid foundations built at the start cost less than fixing a finished website six months later.
What you get in each package
Mini (2,000 PLN) is a simple site for a small property: offer, photos, directions and a contact form. An email mailbox on your own domain is included. A good start when you want your own domain and something Google can show.
Standard (4,500 PLN) is a full property website: rooms, price list, surroundings and house rules. The price includes a link to your booking system, complete SEO setup and an optional Polish-English version. Most guesthouse owners choose this package.
Premium (8,500 PLN) is a tailor-made website with its own reservation engine connected through API. The widget and availability calendar stay on your site, so guests finish the booking without being redirected. It adds integrations with the systems you already use, a panel for editing content yourself, and an SEO/GEO audit in the price.
How much does it cost to run a website?
A website does not end at launch. Hosting, the SSL certificate, updates and backups need attention all year round – especially during the season, when downtime hurts the most. Monthly care covers that:
Lite, 199 PLN/month – hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, weekly backups and up to 1.5 hours of small changes per month.
Pro, 399 PLN/month – everything from Lite, plus 3 h of changes, a monthly SEO audit and a traffic report.
Premium, 799 PLN/month – everything from Pro, plus content every month, faster response times and keeping an eye on how AI systems describe your business.
You treat care like a subscription. You can cancel any time with one month’s notice – no annual contracts.
Hidden costs – what to ask before signing
The same elements exist in every project. The question is whether the vendor tells you about them before signing or only on the invoice:
- domain – who registers it and in whose name,
- hosting and maintenance – what happens to the site after launch,
- photos – who provides the photography,
- copy – who writes the texts, and who fixes them later,
- updates – what it costs to change a phone number in the footer or add one room photo,
- security – backups, certificates and a reaction when something stops working.
If the quote contains one number and nothing else, walk through this list point by point. Cheap websites often get expensive in instalments over the following years.
Which package fits your property?
Choose Mini if you run a cabin or a few rooms and need a simple page with a contact form.
Choose Standard if you run a guesthouse or a small hotel and want a full site with online booking.
Choose Premium if you already work with a booking system and want guests to finish their reservation on your site, not through an intermediary.
FAQ
How much does a website for a guesthouse cost?
Three packages: Mini 2,000 PLN, Standard 4,500 PLN and Premium 8,500 PLN. These are final prices without VAT, because I operate under VAT exemption. Optional care starts at 199 PLN per month.
Is it worth having my own website when I am already on Booking.com?
Yes. Every reservation from the portal carries a commission – a direct booking keeps that money at your property. On top of that, guest data stays with the intermediary, so you lose the contact that lets you invite the guest back. Your own website closes both gaps.
What does website care include?
Hosting, SSL, uptime monitoring, weekly backups and up to 1.5 hours of small changes per month on Lite. Higher packages add more hours of changes, an SEO audit, a traffic report, monthly content and AI visibility checks.
How long does it take to build a website?
Realistically we are talking about weeks – I set the exact date after our conversation and after seeing your materials. As an anchor: Standard usually takes 2–3 weeks to deliver. Mini ships sooner, Premium takes longer. The pace depends mostly on how quickly you can send photos and texts.
